Do I need to buy my own mount, or do you provide it?
We can do either! If you already bought a mount, we are happy to install it for you.
If you don’t have one, let us know the size and model of your TV ahead of time, and we can supply a high-quality fixed, tilting, or full-motion (articulating) mount for an additional fee.
Can you hide the wires inside the wall?
Yes, we offer standard wire concealment. If your wall allows it (like standard drywall), we can route the cables behind the wall for a clean, seamless look.
Note: Hiding power cords inside a wall requires an in-wall rated power extension kit to meet local safety and fire codes. We can install one of these kits for you.
What kind of walls can you mount a TV on?
We can safely mount TVs to almost any surface, including:
Drywall and wood studs
Concrete, brick, or stone
Plaster walls
Metal studs (often found in commercial buildings or modern high-rises)
Please let us know in advance if your wall is made of brick, stone, or concrete so our technician can bring the correct heavy-duty anchors and masonry drill bits.
How long does a standard TV installation take?
A basic mount on standard drywall usually takes about 45 to 60 minutes. If you need advanced wire concealment, soundbar mounting, or if we are drilling into stone or concrete, it typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
How high should my TV be mounted?
As a general rule of thumb, the center of your TV screen should be at eye level when you are sitting down in your viewing position.
For most standard sofas, this means the center of the TV will sit about 42 inches from the floor. However, if we are mounting it over a fireplace or in a bedroom, we will help you find the most comfortable custom height and angle before we start drilling.
Will you unbox the TV and set up my streaming devices?
Absolutely. Our complete service includes unboxing your new TV, mounting it, connecting your audio video components (like cable boxes, soundbars, or gaming consoles), connecting it to your Wi-Fi network, and verifying that your streaming apps work perfectly.
Do you mount soundbars and surround sound systems too?
Yes! We can mount your soundbar directly below or above the TV, either attached to the wall or connected to the TV mount itself.
We can also handle the positioning and setup of standard surround sound systems and subwoofers to ensure you get the best audio experience.
What should I do to prepare for the technician's arrival?
To help things go smoothly, we recommend:
Clearing out the immediate area below where the TV will be mounted.
Ensuring there is a working power outlet near the mounting spot.
Having all your components (cable box, console, soundbar) and their respective power cords and HDMI cables ready in the room.
Can you unmount my old TV first?
Yes, we can safely remove your old television and mount from the wall. If you are replacing an old TV with a new one in the same spot, we can often reuse the existing mount if it is rated to handle the size and weight of your new television.
